Opening in the wake of April’s Pink Full Moon, Comida y Arte is an art + culinary experience designed to feed the senses. Works of art created by AFTA supporting artists complimenting the theme of ‘Comida y Arte’ will be on display and for sale. Chef Sandra Cordero’s culinary delights will feature Cordero Negro sweets for the opening reception and a three course Spanish-themed meal centered on two types of paella during the restaurant pop-up. ‘Feel the Churn’ performance art by Pop Soda will kick off the intersection of art + food. A portion of the proceeds from Comida y Arte will support ART from the ashes 2013 Programming.
